I dreamed last night, for the first time in weeks, that I can remember. I stood upon a rocky cliff overlooking a plain split by a river. I turned, and as I looked, I saw a Cardassian man standing, holding a metal rod. We walked away from the cliff through a wooded area and happened upon a small clear pool. As I looked, I saw no scars or implants upon my face. Looking up, the man spoke, and I could not understand the words.

I wonder what it could mean.

Was invited to dine with Admiral Helsdingen. I feel sorry for him. His people have little culture of their own to go with their xenophobia, and he adopted his late wife’s culture to ‘fill the void’ as he termed it. Once she passed, he feels a bit unsure of himself, and his own beliefs. Sad.
